Organised by North Wales Car Club, the Cambrian Rally will bring some of Britain's leading rally crews to the forests of North Wales for a descisive day in the British Rally Championship, with the title battle between Welsh drivers Meirion Evans and Osian Pryce, and Scotland's Max McRae set to provide an exciting conclusion to the season.
This year's route introduces a fresh challenge, including the return of stages in the Gwydir Forest complex for the first time since 2019, alongside revised sections around Brenig and Hiraethog. The compact route combines some of the region's best-known gravel roads with demanding new configurations, offering competitors a true test of speed, precision and endurance.
Alongside the sporting action, the organisers will continue their commitment to addressing the rally's environmental impact through their partnership with Carbon Positive Motorsport.
The collaboration has helped the Cambrian Rally take responsibility for emissions associated with competing and official vehicles, using carbon offsetting to mitigate part of the event's environmental footprint.

The partnership builds on several years of cooperation, recognising that reducing emissions wherever practical and addressing those that cannot yet be avoided are both important elements of motorsport's journey towards a more sustainable future.
In 2024, the Cambrian Rally supported the offsetting of 47 tonnes of CO₂e through Carbon Positive Motorsport, demonstrating the difference that individual events can make by taking practical, measurable action.
Carbon Positive Motorsport's longstanding partnership with leading events such as the Cambrian Rally reflects the growing commitment among organisers to make environmental considerations part of the way events are planned and delivered.
Steve Smith, Director of Carbon Positive Motorsport, said: “The Cambrian Rally is a great example of how environmental responsibility can become part of an event's long-term thinking. With the British Rally Championship title at stake and some fantastic forest stages awaiting the crews, this year's rally promises to be particularly exciting. We're delighted to be supporting the organisers once again, helping them address their carbon emissions while enjoying everything that makes the Cambrian such a special event.”

With a high-profile start and finish on Llandudno Promenade and a packed programme of forest stages, the 2026 Lewis & Hunter Cambrian Rally promises another memorable day of rallying, combining a championship showdown with the spectacular scenery of North Wales.
The rally takes place on Saturday 24 October 2026. Further information, including spectator details, is available at www.cambrianrally.co.uk
