Matt Edwards launches his own Positive About Motorsport merchandise collection in a unique collaboration.
Carbon Positive Motorsport has collaborated with triple British Rally Champion and Carbon Positive Motorsport brand ambassador Matt Edwards to create a unique clothing collection, available to purchase through their online shop.
With prices starting from £21.95 the range is based on Carbon Positive Motorsport's high-quality motorsport clothing range. Made from 100% recycled materials, the range features a selection of Matt’s own logos and a laurel celebrating his record setting three British Rally Championship winning years.
The collection also includes a unique T-shirt with a specially designed art graphic that celebrates his record breaking 2021 season in the BRC, where he also became the first British rally champion to have competed with his carbon emissions being offset.
Additionally, a donation to Matt's chosen charity Parkinson’s UK, so that each item sold gives a people and planet positive benefit, as well as supporting Matt in helping to fund his future campaigns.
Matt said about the newly released collection: ‘’I’m really pleased to finally launch our range of M.E. branded clothing, and specially designed T shirt to mark the 3 BRC titles. It’s been a lot of work to get this all together – but it’s all been worthwhile as it is a really nice range of kit, and it helps highlight the Positive about Motorsport message and work that’s being done to help safeguard our sport for the future."
Paul Glass, Director of Carbon Positive Motorsport, added; ‘’I’m really pleased that we have extended our range of clothing with a collection to celebrate Matt's achievements. There has been a great deal of interest in the range since Matt first was seen wearing it at events earlier this year.
"The idea was inspired by some work I had done last year with Ari Vatanen, on a T-shirt which raised a lot of funds for good causes. I have always loved the Colin McRae Sport clothing collection, and I’ve one polo top that celebrates his 25 WRC wins with a similar laurel motif – both these things inspired us to put together this range with Matt.
"It’s a great way for Matt's supporters, and motorsport enthusiasts to help contribute to his future campaigns, as well as raising funds for a good cause with a uniquely sustainable message, including in how the clothing is made and delivered emissions free.’’
