Carbon Positive Motorsport continues to champion sustainability in British Rallycross as the Motorsport UK Junior Rallycross Championship reaches its halfway point this weekend.

The Junior Rallycross stars head to Pembrey for rounds 5 & 6 of the Championship
Rounds 5 and 6 take place at Pembrey Circuit – the Home of Welsh Motorsport – where a talented international field of junior drivers will go head-to-head. As part of their ongoing partnership, now in its third year, Carbon Positive Motorsport will offset all race fuel emissions from the event.
The championship is widely recognised not only for nurturing future rallycross stars, but also for setting new standards in how young drivers are educated about their impact on the sport and the environment. Carbon Positive Motorsport plays a central part in that mission, ensuring that every event showcases credible climate action in practice.

This weekend’s grid includes rising stars such as current points leader Cayden Harris, front runners Teddie Macpherson and Harrison Folley, and returning contenders Tommy Brown and William Hands. They’ll be joined by exciting newcomer Cheche Ababu – a 14-year-old double champion from Kenya, making his UK debut. The reigning Kenya National Cadet Junior Buggy double Champion brings impressive credentials, having been selected by the FIA to showcase the new CrossCar at the WRC Safari Rally opening ceremony earlier this year.
"These young drivers represent the future of motorsport," said Peter Gwynne, Championship organiser. "With the support of CPM offsetting their race fuel, we're not just reducing environmental impact – we're teaching the next generation that championship-level performance and ecological responsibility are perfectly compatible."

The Junior Rallycross Championship continues to lead by example, with a comprehensive approach to driver development that extends beyond racing skills to a wider awareness of environmental and social responsibility and professional conduct. Graduates enter the motorsport industry as both skilled competitors and conscious advocates for sustainable racing - essential qualities for the motorsport professionals of tomorrow.
Steve Smith, Director of Carbon Positive Motorsport, added: “We’re incredibly proud to support the Junior Rallycross Championship and the next generation of drivers. It’s vital that young competitors understand how they can be part of the solution from the very start of their careers. Our partnership shows that high performance and sustainability can and should go hand in hand.”
