Matt Edwards and Matthew Jackson both score hat tricks of wins on the Plains Rally.
Last weekend’s Plains Rally saw Carbon Positive Motorsport brand ambassadors Matt Edwards and Matthew Jackson jumping for joy from each claiming hat tricks of three consecutive wins out of three events.
Carbon Positive Motorsport founder, Paul Glass said ‘’Steve and I had a call before the event with Matt discussing some exciting things that will be announced shortly – and I was commenting to Matt just how much his exploits in the RSD Fiat 131 Abarth has been one of the season's highlights so far – and has really raised the profile of the championship.
"I think most enthusiasts are really pleased to see Matt and the Fiat challenge the Escort dominance in UK historic rallying. For both Matt and Matthew to complete a hat trick of wins says so much about their talents and has brought a great spotlight on our brand which we are grateful for."
Matthew Jackson commented, "I'm very pleased with our 1st in class result as well as top front wheel drive car overall. We really are loving the new car, the events and the whole package so far this year. There's lots of work is going on behind the scenes to keep everything in top condition to maximize the opportunity that we have. Onto the Nicky Grist Stages on 9th July!"
