Archie Swinscoe, co-driven by Barry Young, will compete for the first time with their competitive fuel consumption-based carbon footprint offset in the future using 100% UK sourced and certified carbon offsetting projects. They join our other BRC Carbon Positive Motorsport Ambassadors, Osian Price and Garry Pearson.

Archie said “I am delighted to have Carbon Positive Motorsport offsetting my fuel consumption for the Jim Clark Rally. My rallying career is only just getting started, but I can already see the challenges that rallying will face in the future due to climate change. Carbon Positive Motorsport is tackling these challenges which will help the sport we love to thrive in the future.”

Carbon Positive Motorsport founder, Paul Glass, added: ‘’I’m really pleased that Archie will join with us on this year’s Jim Clark. I first got to be aware that Archie was an emerging talent last year, watching him on some events and also through many people's feedback this year at the SRC awards. It’s especially important for us to support young and up and coming talents such as he. The long-term future of the sport is in their hands and like many of the next generation, their commitment to environmental responsibility in the sport is very strong. I really think the Jim Clark will really be an opportunity for him to demonstrate this talent at a BRC level and secure a great result."

Keep following our news for our full Jim Clark rally review featuring all those competing using our offsetting services.
